Our Programs
Developing Globally Competitive Graduates
Our programs are designed to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.
Developing 21st Century Leaders
These programs help youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills to participate the democratic process. Program participants also develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.
Developing a Healthier Generation
These Club programs help develop young people's capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals and grow into self-sufficient adults. They're designed to develop physical fitness, reduce stress and promote a positive use of leisure time, appreciation for the environment and interpersonal skills.

Day In The Life
Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown provides a place where all youth, no matter their circumstances, can make great discoveries about themselves and engage in educational and recreational activities. And it’s all done in a safe environment and led by positive role models and leaders. We meet kids and teens where they are and help them to take steps forward to reach their potential. By focusing on safety, academic support, and character development, we’re helping youth find – and achieve – brighter futures.
Thinking, Learning & Creating
with Dollar Tree
Through the national Dollar Tree/Family Dollar partnership, BGCY participates in the "Think, Learn, Create Change" (TLC) platform, which empowers our youth to identify community issues they care about and develop advocacy projects to create positive change in their neighborhoods. Selected participants have the opportunity to present their projects in Washington, D.C., at the Summit for America's Youth alongside young advocates from across the country.

2025 Youth of The Year
Meet Jeremiah Robinson, the 2025 Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown Youth of the Year! Jeremiah Robinson is a dedicated member of the Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown who has overcome significant challenges to become a leader among his peers. After the loss of his mother at a young age, Jeremiah found support and guidance at the Club, where he built lasting friendships and developed strong leadership skills.
